Rock Morphis
Managing DirectorRock Morphis 

Mr. Morphis co-founded Heritage Group, LLC in 1986 and has served as a Managing Director of the firm since its inception. Heritage Group is an investment and advisory firm, which focuses on early stage healthcare opportunities. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Morphis has served in numerous executive positions within Heritage Group's portfolio of companies.
From 1995-2004, he served as Chairman, President and CEO of Heritage Health Systems, Inc. HHS, through its subsidiaries, operates as a managed care organization and focuses primarily on the Medicare Advantage market throughout the US. The Company was acquired by a public company for $98 million in 2004. From 1992-1995, Mr. Morphis served as Chairman, President and CEO of Surgical Health Corporation, a company engaged in the development and management of outpatient surgery centers. After acquiring and developing 37 ambulatory surgery centers in the US, the Company was acquired by a public company in 1995 for $240 million.
Additionally, Mr. Morphis has served on the boards of numerous business and civic organizations and as an advisor to many portfolio companies of Heritage Group. Mr. Morphis is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and resides in Nashville. He and his wife have three children.

David McClellan
Managing DirectorDavid McClellan 

Mr. McClellan co-founded Heritage Group, LLC in 1986 and has served as a Managing Director of the firm since 1989. Heritage Group is a privately-held investment and advisory firm focused on early-state healthcare opportunities. Over the past 25 years, Mr. McClellan has served in numerous executive positions within Heritage Group’s portfolio of companies.
In addition to his other activities, since 2002 Mr. McClellan has functioned in a corporate development role for several of the Heritage portfolio companies including Sourcemark, LLC and Theralogix, LLC.
From 1995-1998, Mr. McClellan served as founder and CEO of ProSeed, LLC. The company partnered with hospitals and radiation oncologists and urologists throughout the US to launch prostate brachytherapy centers. The company was acquired by a public company for $55 million in 2002. From 1992-1995, Mr. McClellan served as VP of Development for Surgical Health Corporation, a company engaged in the development and management of outpatient surgery centers. After acquiring and developing 37 ambulatory surgery centers in the US, the company was acquired by a public company in 1998 for $240 million. From 1986-1991, McClellan and Morphis developed and/or managed more than 50 physician/hospital outpatient ventures involving over 5,000 physician investors encompassing a wide array of surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
Mr. McClellan holds a BS degree from the University of Tennessee and a Masters Degree in Hospital and Health Administration from the Medical College of Virginia. He began his healthcare career as an associate administrator with Hospital Corporation of America in 1983. Mr. McClellan resides in Nashville with his wife and three children.

Paul Wallace
Managing DirectorPaul Wallace 

Mr. Wallace joined Heritage in 2011 as a Managing Director for the Heritage Healthcare Innovation Fund. Prior to joining Heritage, Mr. Wallace served as a Venture Partner for SV Life Sciences, a $2 billion international private equity firm investing exclusively in health care. From 2003 - 2009, he served as SVP Sales & Marketing and SVP Corporate Development for Healthways, Inc. (NASDAQ: HWAY). During this time, Healthways completed more than 15 strategic transactions, and revenue increased from $120 million to more than $700 million.
Prior to joining Healthways, Mr. Wallace was a General Partner of Petra Capital Partners, a $120m private equity investment firm in Nashville, TN. From 1997-2001, he was a founding member and Managing Director with New York-based Gilbert Global Equity Partners, a $1.2 billion global private equity fund created with the former investment team of Soros Capital.
Prior to GGEP, Mr. Wallace was a Vice President with Lazard Asia Investment Management, a Singapore-based $250 million private equity fund focused on growth equity investments in Asia. Prior to Lazard, he served as an Associate with Golder, Thoma, Cressey, Rauner (GTCR), a $4 billion private equity firm based in Chicago. Earlier in his career, he served as a Commercial Lending Officer with Bank of America.
He received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and his B.A. from the University of Richmond. He is a native of Nashville, where he resides with his wife and three children.

Jesse Bland
AssociateJesse Bland 

Mr. Bland joined Heritage Group in 2011 and focuses his activities on the Heritage Healthcare Innovation Fund. Prior to joining Heritage Group, Mr. Bland was an associate at Nashville Capital Network, where he focused on early-stage investments in healthcare and technology-driven businesses. Prior to that, he worked for Governor Sonny Perdue at the Commission for a New Georgia (CNG), a non-profit, non-partisan council created to engage Georgia's top-level business and professional executives in helping bring innovation to state government. Among other CNG initiatives, Mr. Bland worked alongside leaders from the Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship in developing a model for commercializing intellectual property within the university system into the marketplace.
Mr. Bland graduated summa cum laude with a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.

Graham Hunter

Graham Hunter joined Heritage Group in 2012 as an Associate for the Heritage Healthcare Innovation Fund. Prior to joining Heritage Group, Mr. Hunter spent three years as an Associate with Ridgemont Equity Partners in Charlotte, NC where he focused on investments across a broad range of industries and served as a Board Observer of Gallus BioPharmaceuticals and Unite Private Networks. From 2006-2009, he worked as an Analyst in Leveraged Finance at Banc of America Securities.
Mr. Hunter graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College.

Michelle Anderson
VP of FinanceMichelle Anderson 

Ms. Anderson joined Heritage Group in 2003 as Vice President of Finance, where she manages the firm’s private equity holdings. Prior to Heritage, Ms. Anderson spent six years managing healthcare services with regional CPA firms, Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC and HORNE LLP. While with these firms, she performed and implemented financial, operational and compliance assessments for physician practices and outpatient services. Additionally, Ms. Anderson spent three years serving as Chief Financial Officer for Tennessee Orthopedic Alliance, one of the country’s largest orthopaedic surgery groups. During that time, the practice grew from twenty to forty physicians through strategic mergers and joined OrthoLink, a physician practice management company.
Ms. Anderson has a B.B.A. in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She resides in Brentwood, TN with her husband and two children.

Florence Chassaignac
Director of OperationsFlorence Chassaignac 

Ms. Chassaignac joined Heritage Group in 2011 as Director of Operations of the Heritage Healthcare Innovation Fund. Prior to joining Heritage, Ms. Chassaignac served as Director of Marketing for US Radiosurgery, a leading provider of stereotactic radiosurgery services with centers throughout the country, where she managed more than $2 million in combined advertising and marketing budgets. Ms. Chassaignac was with USR from its inception and helped grow the company from one to 14 centers with consolidated annual revenue of $29 million. US Radiosurgery was acquired by Alliance Oncology in 2011 for $53 million. Prior to US Radiosurgery, Ms. Chassaignac was the Director of Marketing for NeoSpine, an ambulatory surgery center company, where she developed and managed strategic marketing plans targeting the neurosurgery community and hospitals.
Ms. Chassaignac has a B.A. from Rhodes College in Psychology. She is a native of Nashville, where she resides with her husband.

Farris Raines
Executive CoordinatorFarris Raines 

Ms. Raines joined Heritage Group in 2013 as Executive Coordinator for the Heritage Healthcare Innovation Fund. Prior to joining Heritage Group, Ms. Raines served as Concierge & VIP Manager at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel Nashville where she organized and managed a department of six team members and ensured every guest received impeccable personal service for entertainment, reservations, travel and more. Ms. Raines has a B.A. from University of TN in Psychology. She is a native of Nashville where she currently resides.

Ginger Rogers
Office ManagerGinger Rogers 
Ms. Rogers has been with the Heritage team since 1990. Since 2002, she has served as Office Manager of Heritage Group, LLC. From 1995 to 2002, Ms. Rogers was Office Manager at Heritage Health Systems, Inc., which through its subsidiaries, operates as a managed care organization and focuses primarily on the Medicare Advantage market throughout the US. Prior to Heritage Health Systems, Ms. Rogers was Executive Secretary of Heritage Surgical Corporation, a company engaged in the development and management of outpatient surgery centers.
Ms. Rogers has an A.A. from Nashville State Community College in Computer Technology. She is originally from Tampa, Florida and has lived in Nashville for 25 years.
