Casey Santos is an executive leader, independent board director, and advisor with expertise across a diverse range of industries, business lines, and functions. In her former roles as the Chief Information Officer for Asurion and General Atlantic, she led strategy and drove innovation leveraging AI, data analytics, cloud technology and other technology to deliver business value across the enterprise while managing cybersecurity risk, resiliency and regulatory compliance. Casey began her career at NASA’s Mission Control as an aerospace engineer supporting multiple Space Shuttle missions. She left NASA to be an IT consultant, implementing technology to serve multiple industries. After her graduate studies, she consulted with McKinsey in Madrid and New York. Following consulting, she also held senior technology leadership roles at McKinsey’s private investment office and AllianceBernstein.
Ms. Santos is a Board Director at Omnicom, Board Director and Audit Compliance and Risk Committee Chair for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, as well as a member of the Nashville Electric Service Board. She is a Special Advisor for Generative AI to Vanderbilt University. She is currently the board chair for the Greater Nashville Technology Council. She formerly served on the boards of BritishAmerican Business, Wall Street Technology Association, Women’s Forum of New York and the YMCA of Greater New York where she co-chaired the Hispanic Achiever’s event. She has been awarded honors as a HITEC (Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council) 100 as well as the Constellation Research Transformation 150. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Writer and has served on the advisory boards of AWS, Zoom, Box, MoveWorks, Aiden, Masergy, Agio, and the Financial Technology Forum. Ms. Santos holds a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School and a MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
